Your Role Will Involve:
Working in an Agile environment, you will join a team of engineers working on greenfield products within ecommerce and fulfillment. Working model will be remote/hybrid with teams located in Ireland, Spain & Eastern Europe.
This is an opportunity to contribute to the design and build of our platform using the latest technology advancements and methodologies. As well as developing software, you will also contribute to UI designs and peer reviews across teams and work with a Product Owner and QA to ensure we deliver secure value-added software with quality engrained.
A strong work ethic with a can-do attitude is expected, alongside a culture of friendly collaboration and teamwork. You will strive for continuous improvement and to be part of a high performing team who delivers on its commitments.
You will be experienced with JavaScript/Typescript Frameworks and componentizing modules. You will have a keen interest in doing things the right way and for taking on new challenges.
Proven experience in delivering responsive UI apps that leverage backend services and state management patterns.
Requirements:
– Minimum of 6 years experience working within software engineering teams in an Agile environment.
– Excellence in JavaScript & Typescript and associated frameworks (Angular, React, RxJS, NgRx).
– Proficiency in State Management patterns such as Redux & MobX
– Experience in building responsive SPA’s using Angular for ecommerce is an advantage.
– Experience in building reusable UI components and with patterns such as MFE.
– Exposure to design/build of reliable applications capable of scaling to serve high volumes of traffic.
– Experience and knowledge of CDN’s.
– Usage of npm & cli for Package management.
– Adheres to trunk-based development practices – e.g. code reviews, automated test, continuous integration, continuous delivery.
– High attention to detail and willingness to take on complex technical challenges.
– Actively contribute to UI design and the code review process.
– Ability and willingness to mentor junior developers.
– Stays abreast of the latest UI technology advancements.
– Good communication skills.
