Is ExpandNow the Merchant of Record?
Yes, we act as the primary Merchant of Record, while your business is set up as a sub-merchant under ExpandNow. As your authorized seller, we take care of all the heavy lifting, including handling sales tax and VAT globally.
Do I need a credit card to get started?
Not at all! We only charge you once you start earning. You can sign up for ExpandNow and explore for free. Plus, your first month is on the house with our Global Commerce in-a-Box solution.
Is cancellation flexible?
That’s right! You can cancel anytime. No contracts, no minimum commitments, no hassles. We’re confident you’ll love our platform, but if you ever decide to move on, you’re completely free to do so—no strings attached!
Can I offer subscriptions?
Not quite yet, but it’s coming soon! We’re working on adding support for monthly and annual pre-paid subscriptions in a future release. Stay tuned—exciting things are on the horizon!
What if I already have a website?

Could fees ever exceed 5%?
No. Our flat fee is always 5% of each successful sale, plus 50¢ per transaction. The only potential extra cost could be for currency conversion during the settlement process, which is simply part of the exchange rate.
Does ExpandNow offer localized checkouts?
You bet! The ExpandNow checkout is fully localized in a whopping 18 languages, including English, Italian, German, French, Spanish, Chinese (simplified), Arabic, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, and more! What can’t I sell on ExpandNow?
While we love empowering businesses, there are a few things that are a no-go. Anything that’s heavily regulated, requires special licensing, or is banned by payment providers and card brands is off-limits.
